Zenmuse P1
With a 45-megapixel full-frame mechanical shutter camera, the Zenmuse P1 is the absolute leader for RGB photogrammetry survey and mapping. Used together with the DJI M300 RTK drone, the Zenmuse P1 supports 24/35/50mm lens options, and comes with important features which increase efficiency and accuracy in the professinal drone survey workflow.
Making use of the 3-axis gimbal, Smart Oblique Capture mode automatically rotates the camera to take photos at different angles, significantly increasing the coverage efficiency of drone survey flights — while also using Smart Data Management, which automatically selects only the photos that are essential to the photogrammetry reconstruction, increasing the speed of post processing between 20% – 50%. As a specialized drone survey camera, the Zenmuse P1 also uses TimeSync 2.0, a metadata feature which aligns the camera, flight controller, RTK module, and gimbal at the microsecond level, for survey and mapping results with astonishingly high accuracy.
